Ms. Helen was rescued on the brink of starvation. In active kidney failure, extreme dehydration, and an upper respiratory infection, we were fairly certain we were going to have to let her go. Helen rated a 1/9 on the body scale. Another visit from our amazing CSU vet team with lots of IVF, miraculously she turned around. She has only been here going on four weeks and she is a completely new girl. She loves her food, attention, and visiting her friends. We are still getting to know the real her and so far she is the kindest most sweet old lady who is estimated to be in her late 20’s and possibly early 30’s.
