Ivy came from the local livestock auction. We had someone reach out to us concerned she was going to die before she left the lot. Of course we had to jump into action. Ivy was actively colicing, impacted, extremely dehydrated, and had little to no chance of survival. We brought her home and immediately called our amazing CSU Vet team out to help. Ivy was emaciated and had hind leg issues; with her condition we were going to give her 24 hours before we would have to say goodbye if she didn’t turn around. Fast forward to today and she is a two-and-a-half-year-old healthy girl. She needs a minor leg surgery, which she will get soon and she will be 100%
